Copenhagen Island is able to offer a number of bedrooms that are allergy-friendly. These rooms are of course non-smoking, situated on the 1st. and 2nd. storeys and equipped with wooden floors instead of the carpets fitted in the other rooms. All allergy-friendly rooms have continental quilts with hollow-fibre filling and cotton/cambric bolsters. Similarly, pillows have a fibre-pellet filling and cotton/cambric bolsters. Rooms are cleaned using an eco-friendly “green” product range from Oasis Pro however, some cleaning materials may contain perfume and/or colourants. Bedding and towels are laundered out-of-house at Berendsen Textil where only allergy-friendly detergents are used. All the hotel rooms are equipped with individually-controlled air-conditioning however, guests with dust-mite allergy are recommended not to use the air-conditioning as this may create dust in the room. Other furnishings in the rooms include curtains, bedspread, decorative cushion and chair upholstery in Alcantra.
