Experience Copenhagen

Life and experiences along the harbour

Copenhagen is a city built for life by the water. Along the harbour, modern architecture stands side by side with historic buildings, and the promenades buzz with cafés, bathing zones, and cosy spots by the canals.

Here you can experience the city from the water in a kayak, take a refreshing dip directly from the harbour baths, or enjoy the view on a harbour tour. On this page, you’ll find inspiration for the best experiences where Copenhagen’s maritime charm takes centre stage.

Hop-on Hop-off Canal Tours operates daily around the canals of Copenhagen, starting from Gl. Strand or Nyhavn. Here you can see Copenhagen from the waterfront with a tour guide, and have different stops.
