Rent a bike at Copenhagen Island

Enjoy Copenhagen in a fantastic, inspiring, sustainable – and not least easy and fast way.

Experience Copenhagen in a new way!

We have bikes for all ages: adult bikes, children's bikes in two sizes, and a cargo bike. We also have bikes with child seats for those traveling with very young children.

Here you can see the prices for bike rentals:

  • Adult & children's bikes:
  • Cargo bikes:

It's possible to rent bikes for half a day – from 5PM until midnight for   per bike. The cargo bike can only be rented for a full day.

Please note that prices are for all-day rentals within the same day, meaning that the rental period ends at midnight on the day you rent the bike.

We have helmets for both children and adults included in the rental. We recommend using a helmet.

How to rent bikes

All bike rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis, so we do not offer reservations. We have plenty of bikes, so just drop by and ask at our reception on the day you wish to rent your bike. However, especially in the summer, our bikes are very popular, so we recommend coming by to rent your bike in the morning.

If you're not used to cycling in Copenhagen, here are some good tips to follow:

  • Always wear a helmet
  • Do not carry more people on the bike than allowed
  • Stick to the bike lanes and keep to the right in the direction of traffic
  • Use bike lights after sunset
  • Raise your arm when stopping. Signal when turning right and left
